Assignment 1: Warm up

Shoot 1 roll of film, bring film to class (Monday 9/12) for processing.

During a sunny (and likely cold!) day, take your camera for a walk somewhere that interests you. Open your eyes wide and be receptive. If/when something interesting catches your eye, go up close and make a picture. Shoot a close-up; try to fill the frame of the camera with your subject, so that there is minimal background.

Use your current camera skills, (ISO, exposure, focus, shutter speed, aperture) to the best of your ability.

Next class: bring this shot film, your camera and blank roll of film. Bring rubber gloves, apron, and whatever else you have been using for film processing.
